About the brand: "Marci Lipman started her own clothing line in 1985 which included t-shirts (100% Made in Canada) among other things, featuring her own art. In fact, the products were considered just that, 'wearable art' rather than simply clothes - and the price reflected that. The items weren't cheap. But her flagship store on Avenue road became a bit of a neighbourhood staple. Eventually she would have a total of 9 stores and wholesale her line to all the major department stores."
